#matchday. The day I've been waiting for since the previous game. It starts of as a casual day like any other day of the week.

But then I start doing things I only do on match days. Firstly, I grab my football clothes from my closet and put them in my bag. Nothing makes me prouder than seeing the logo I created, printed on that shirt. Then I put all the other useful stuff in, like an extra pair of socks, fresh boxer shorts for after the game, but most importantly, my football shoes!
“Football is my sanctuary. It's where I go to escape. It's where I'm most happy." - Odell Beckham, Jr.
I usually eat a big warm #meal for lunch. I love to go to this place where they serve fries with chicken and salad. This is such a good meal, and it makes me a little sleepy, which is perfect, because I like to rest and close my eyes for a #powernap a few hours before the game.
Prep Meal
This is always a warm meal, which I share with my brother most of the time. It gives us the energy we need to be on top during the game. Our favorite meal is cordon bleu burger with tomato sauce risotto. It's starting to become a thing we have to eat before the game!
Getting ready in the dressing room, having a chat with teammates or with the referee, that's the sign for me to put my game-mode on! As captain of the team, I summon everyone to start the warm up together. After a few minutes, we start by shooting on goal. A minute before the game, the referee whistles to let everyone know to get ready. I do the toss, we make our team shout and the game starts. Let's do it!
